Battling On is an organisation that provides therapeutic activities and community support for veterans transitioning to civilian life. It offers a safe haven and a chance to connect with others who have had similar experiences in the military. We also provide various indoor and outdoor activities, including art, scale modelling and cooking.

Every Thursday, Battling On facilitates ‘Stand Easy’ our veteran sessions. These sessions are primarily run by the Battling On Veterans Committee. Engage in hearty banter with other former servicemen and women in events known for great camaraderie and friendship. 

As of January 2025, these sessions will be held at Sir Robert Geffery Memorial Hall, Landrake (PL12 5DZ), between 1300-1600. There is a model railway table just waiting for capable hands to put it together; call it the Veteran Station Project!

We’re making items (poppies, bird boxes, trains, etc.) for Boconnoc Steam Fair a key fundraiser—please support if you can.

Sign-up sheets will be available; even an hour helping makes a big difference.

7th, 8th, and 9th August– We will have a stand at the Bocconoc Steam Fair.
