On Tuesday May 16th, Nikki Markham was invited to Buckingham Palace to the Queen's Garden Party, in recognition of all Nikki's hard work with Battling On. She and her husband Steve had a fantastic day out at the palace.

We are delighted to announce that Battling On’s Inspiring Lives project is a winner in the People’s Project Awards 2017, being awarded £50,000. It really shows how much support this project has from the local community, national organisations and all the individuals who voted for us. This money will make a real difference, not just for the individuals who participate in the Inspiring Lives project, but also for their families and communities. We want to thank everyone who has supported our campaign.

We are very excited to announce we have been chosen as a finalist for the Big Lottery People’s Project Award for the West Country West area. The National Soldiering On Awards Ceremony 2017 is to be held at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge on the 24^th March. As last year’s winners of the Innovation Award sponsored by Telent, Battling On has been invited to help celebrate the achievements of this year’s winners.
